Last week, the Ukrainian government dismissed six deputy defense ministers after appointing a new defense minister earlier this month.
Amid a protracted war with Russia since February 24, 2022, Ukrainian authorities appointed Muslim Rustem Umerov as the Minister of Defense, following overwhelming support from the parliament.
